Our Mission: Healing America’s Veterans through the therapeutic art of fly fishing.
Vision: Foster restoration, resilience, community, and lasting connections in the journey towards healing.
The Winchester Program is one of 10 programs in Virginia.
We support all Veterans in the greater Winchester area with a VA service disability rating.
Veterans do not need any fly fishing or fishing experience.
We provide all equipment, classes, and outings at no cost to all participants. Classes, activities and events include:
- Fly-Casting
- Fly-Tying
- Knot Tying
- Rod Building
- Entomology
- Fishing Outings
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at Rachel’s Kitchen, located at the Shenandoah Club in Lake Frederick, VA.
